30 different stickers (110 x 170mm size of the book)
Found in Books was formed during my exchange at Konstfack in Stockholm, where
I started to collect basically anything that would fall out of old, pre-owned books: little notes, pressed flowers, bookmarks, recipes etc. At times, the notes had been left there for a very long time, leaving mysterious white silhouettes on pages that otherwise yellow from age. I went on to create stickers based on these silhouettes that I reused as graphically abstract elements that, when used in different contexts, can achieve new meaning and provide new messages. In here I present the collection of stickers inserted in a classical Swedish childrens book.
