Harald Szeemann – Individual Methodology is the result of a research project developed by the 16th Session of the curatorial formation of the Magasin, Grenoble.
The publication is printed in b/w, all original documents are displayed full page and the book contains various exhibition-plans. It's systematic and rather dense layout with the use of light grey paper, all set in Garamond, refers to Szeemanns archive on which the research was based and it is also a hint to the esthetics of photocopied research projects. In contrast the cover shows personal and random photographs of Szeemann himself, displayed like in a traditional photo album or – as commonly seen in biographies – inserts on glossy paper with images.
