Lisa del Giocondo is a leporello-folded booklet that shows a serie of photographs I took in the crowd that gathered around the painting of Mona Lisa during my visits at the Musée du Louvre. This calm and very static lady on the tableau attracted quite an impressive number of tourists, the approximately 15 flashlights per minute added to the general agitation. To my surprise I noticed during my last visit at the Louvre that Mona Lisa has since been moved to a new room and taking photographs in a surrounding of 50 meter is now forbidden. What surprised me less, was that all of a sudden the unmanageable crowd has shrunken to just a dozen of leftovered admirer.
