The publication Re-Visionen des Displays was presented in the wake of the symposium by the same name that took place at the migros museum für gegenwartskunst in 2007.
The chief objective was to explore exhibition display through the means of contributions from professionals with various backgrounds in exhibition production.
The texts are generally accompanied with documental imagery, printed in black in contrast to the text, which is set in dark blue.
One of the primary goals was to design the book in a factual, handy and reader-friendly way – a reason why I decided to display the footnotes at the bottom of each corresponding page. This approach creates an alternation between each page and a resulting rhythm in the layout that makes for more animated reading.
The publication opens and ends with full-spread photographs taken during the symposium to build a bridge between the content and its context.
